Until now, a number of studies and monographs have described the formation and deployment of Czechoslovak and Polish pilots. However, no comparative analysis of both groups has been conducted. Therefore, this study focuses on a comparison of the legal status of Czechoslovak and Polish air force units, as well as their numbers, formations, and structure.
